Engelbert Pumpernickel - Triple treat IPA

But hello, here’s ENGELBERT PUMPERNICKEL - a smooth and deliciously boozy 9.2% triple treat with lashings of exotic tropical and citrus fruit🍊🍋🍊

This IPA was first brewed in 2014, as a collaboration with our good friends at @panheadcustomales (New Zealand) and @firestonewalker (USA), and is actually one of our most loved one-off beers of all time and our highest rated on #Untappd. Tick ☑️

Given all we've been through in the last year, we thought the time was right to pull the recipe out of the archives to celebrate exiting a year of rolling lockdowns.
It’s a new team favourite and our operations manager Fee dreamt that it won the best beer in the world award🥇

You might have already guessed who inspired the beer name...

Given he pinched his name from a 19th-century composer, we're pretty sure he'll be ok with us riffing of his name. (Don’t tell him)
Amazing artwork as always by our art director @frithawashere 🖌
Available on our webshop now 🔝

*Moutere was briefly known as Brooklyn before a well-known US brewery asked very kindly (via lawyers) for the name to be changed. Brooklyn is actually a small settlement (just outside the more well-known Motueka) right in the heart of New Zealand's main hop growing district.
